Curriculum Maps

Within our school district curriculum mapping is intended to facilitate long-range planning, short-term instructional adjustments, and to promote dialogue between teachers, administrators, students and parents.

The goal for our Curriculum Maps is to communicate learning targets for students that are:
  • aligned with the New York State Learning Standards and Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS)
  • comprehensive, cohesive and rigorous
In addition, mapping enables teachers to identify gaps, unneeded, and misalignment in the curriculum and instructional program.

Curriculum Maps are meant to flexible and dynamic.  Tully teachers and administrators in our schools will regularly review, discuss and revise these curriculum maps.  Student performance and the New York State Common Core Learning Standards will drive this evaluation.
