JH Shows Their Gratitude by Giving Back

Each year, the Junior High hosts and participates in a can and nonperishable items drive for the Tully community. With the Positivity Project underway at the Junior-Senior High School, this is a great way for the students to show their gratitude (a character trait of P2) towards the wonderful community they live in. All items that were collected during the drive are donated to St. Leo's Food Pantry in an effort to make Thanksgiving and other times throughout the year less challenging for those in our community. Among some of the items donated were fruits, vegetables, soups, pastas, toiletries, and hygiene products - over 800 of them! To add a little fun to the drive, students' homerooms competed to see who helped to collect the most. For 7th grade, Mrs. Bovi's homeroom took the title and for 8th grade, Mrs. Shatraw's. Great job, Junior High! Let us continue to show our gratitude throughout the holiday seasons and beyond!
