Model Classroom: What's the Code for That?

The Model Classroom at Tully Elementary is in full swing. This classroom is geared toward a different learning environment for any class that would like to engage in a new way of learning. With flexible seating including bean bags, stools, stand-up tables, and floor cushions, teachers can see what best would work in their classrooms before making a commitment, or just enjoy having a different environment for specific lessons. Mrs. Eno's class has taken advantage of this during their coding lesson. Students chose where they would be most comfortable while learning and applying the basics in computer programming using code.org. By the end of the unit, students will create a video game by dragging bits of code onto their screen. All TES teachers are welcome to use this classroom to their advantage.
