Meet Tully's 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Nicole Ball, Valedictorian
It is with great pleasure to recognize Tully Junior-Senior High School’s Class of 2020 valedictorian, Nicole Ball. Nicole has embraced and actively sought academically challenging courses. Her senior year finds her taking AP Biology, OCC French, AP Calculus and OCC/AP English. Nicole dedicates countless hours of the day to her academics and this commitment has paid off. Last spring she was inducted into the French and National Honor Societies and earned the University of Rochester’s “Bausch and Lomb Science Award.” Although a large portion of Nicole’s day is devoted to academics, she is also an active member of First Tech Challenge, Drama Club, and Chamber Choir. Nicole plans on attending the Honors College at University at Buffalo and majoring in pre-med with a potential career goal in the psychiatry field. Way to go, Nicole, and good luck on all your future endeavors!
Ian Byrne , Salutatorian
Ian Byrne, Salutatorian, has established himself in the Tully Junior-Senior High School community in several different areas. He is a tremendous asset to the school. Academically, Ian has taken honors and accelerated courses in every core area offered at Tully High School. This year he is juggling OCC Spanish V, Physics, and is doubled up in math, taking both AP Calculus and AP Statistics. His commitment to his education is unwavering and his hard work has not gone unnoticed; he is a member of National Honor Society and has won numerous academic honors. When Ian is not busy with academics, he is a contributing and active member of Varsity Soccer and Environmental and International Club. Currently, he is also serving as the Student Ex-Officio on the Board of Education. Ian plans on attending Villanova University and majoring in environmental/civil engineering. Congratulations, Ian, on your all of your accomplishments and best wishes for the future!
