Halloween Festivities

There were many Halloween activities, new and old, happening in and around campus this year. The elementary students enjoyed their annual dressing up and parade. Parents got to come on campus and watch as the students paraded around the front courtyard and then around the side of the building. There were lots of fun costumes this year: police officers, animals, witches, ninja turtles, butterflies, storm troopers, and even a banana. They all looked great! Even the elementary staff and faculty got in on the fun! Seniors were also able to enjoy the annual tradition of dressing up and walking the halls of the elementary and JSHS. The costume contest among them yielded Shrek as first place, the Super Heroes as second, Men in Black third. Honorable mention went to Step Brothers. They all seemed to have fun and were genuinely happy to see the tradition continue. The fun didn’t stop there! A few of our teachers were spotted at the first Tully Trunk or Treat. Ms. Gazdik’s trunk looked very festive with the theme of “Spook-tacular” while Mrs. Dietz and Mrs. Scully-Smith rocked the theme of “Don’t Let Pigeon Drive the Bus,” derived from a fun children’s book series. Here at Tully, we would have to declare Halloween a complete success!
