FFA Activities

Our once again Nationally Acclaimed 3-Star FFA Chapter has been busy with many activities, on and off campus. FFA members began working on the TES butterfly garden last spring and finished it up at the beginning of school. TES students have enjoyed the colorful plants and are excitedly waiting for butterflies to come and go this coming spring! Members also volunteered their time at the NYS Fair and at an alpaca show, and could also be seen at the Community Days here in Tully on the FFA float or on a tractor. At the beginning of October, our FFA members welcomed officers from other chapters when Tully was the first stop in the region’s State Officer Tour. Four of our chapter officers enjoyed leadership training and activities at the Cornell campus a few days later. All members participated in the FFA State Conference virtually, particularly prideful when the National FFA Chorus sang, due to Tully’s very own FFA member, Ella Tordel, being a part of the prestigious group. We are always looking forward to seeing what the FFA is up to. Check out their Facebook page to see all the wonderful things they are involved in!
