Loving the Earth in Tully

Members of Tully’s community are always helping do their part to make our town look and feel great, and students could be seen getting in on the action, especially on Earth Day. Fourteen members of the National Honor Society and Environmental Club met on Saturday, April 23rd to clean up litter along Route 80 in the area of NBT Bank and the Best Western Hotel. It didn't take long to fill up the back end of a pickup truck with over a dozen trash bags full of every type of litter you could imagine. In addition, students that are involved in Interact were also in the area picking up trash. This is a much needed activity when the snow melts and the weather becomes warmer. Thanks to these dedicated students for loving our little piece of Earth here in Tully!
